Echoing as a performative aspect of space. Relationship between the voice, movements of the body through the echoing space and physical (acoustic) aspects of that space. Echoing spaces transform the voice with the effect similar to live editing or artificially created sound effects. Voice improvisation with two bodies in space. Three languages, three different modes of performing – rhythmical, spoken word / sort of confessional yet theoretical tone in the same time / birds’ mimic. Site-specific references and historical references to the space. Connecting different spaces (from Croatia, Colombia and Switzerland) with similar acoustic (echoing) features in the same sound/performative territory.
The Echo Project has been developed as a way of establishing a dialogue with space and its historical and material characteristics in a series of performative actions. The physical characteristic of echo allows it to be flexible, to travel long or short distances and to reveal in its texture the character of the space and boundaries it reaches.

Das Echo als performativer Aspekt des Raums. Die Beziehung zwischen der Stimme, den Bewegungen des Körpers durch den widerhallenden Raum und den physischen (akustischen) Aspekten dieses Raums. Nachhallende Räume transformieren die Stimme mit einem Effekt, der dem Live-Schnitt oder künstlich erzeugten Klangeffekten ähnelt. Stimmimprovisation mit zwei Körpern im Raum. Drei Sprachen, drei verschiedene Arten der Aufführung - rhythmisch, gesprochenes Wort / eine Art konfessioneller und doch theoretischer Ton in der gleichen Zeit / Vogelmimik. Ortsspezifische Referenzen und historische Bezüge zum Raum. Verbindung verschiedener Räume (aus Kroatien, Kolumbien und der Schweiz) mit ähnlichen akustischen (echoartigen) Merkmalen im selben Klang- / Performationsterritorium. Das Echo-Projekt wurde entwickelt, um in einer Reihe von performativen Aktionen einen Dialog mit dem Raum und seinen historischen und materiellen Eigenschaften herzustellen. Die physische Eigenschaft des Echos erlaubt es, flexibel zu sein, lange oder kurze Distanzen zu überwinden und in seiner Textur den Charakter des Raumes und die Grenzen, die er erreicht, zu offenbaren.

Official maps usually represent urban policies and regulate space, oftenly excluding zones of social segregation, marginalised or abandoned urban areas. Our map could be docufictional and performative, yet more realistic then the official one.
The result of the workshop is a walking tour.
